Built From the Floor Up
Canna Luz was built through 13 years of hands-on leadership in the legal cannabis industry.
Before there was a name, there were stores to open, teams to lead, systems to build, regulations to navigate, and difficult decisions to make. There were also people whose livelihoods, opportunities, and daily experiences were shaped by those decisions.
That proximity still matters.
Canna Luz is led by Jessica Pichardo, a cannabis operator, strategist, and leadership advisor whose experience spans retail operations, multi-site management, compliance, organizational development, and cannabis equity programs.
This practice carries the discipline of operations, the perspective of lived experience, and a deep understanding that trust is earned through what happens after the strategy is written.

We approach consulting as a shared practice. We bring experience and structure while staying open to the knowledge, context, and lived experience of the people closest to the work.
The strongest strategies are built through listening, honest assessment, and decisions people can carry forward.
We believe leadership is practiced daily. Equity must live in decisions, systems, relationships, and language. Representation carries responsibility. Profit and purpose can strengthen one another when both are supported by sound operations and intentional leadership.
